I have really tried to work on this this past year. To weed out what I know I won't ever read and focus on those that I know I'll like if I can just get going. The internet and apps have ruined me over the years. And my Kindle....too many choices. So here is my very short list that could be a mile long of books I just had to have but haven't gotten around to reading yet.
Click on the title to go to Goodreads to learn more about the book.
1. Midsummer Mysteries by Agatha Christie
2. A Court of Betrayal by Anne O'Brien
3. The Princes of Ireland by Edward Rutherfurd
4. Blood Royal by Eric Jager
5. Plantagenet Princesses by Douglas Boyd
6. Eleanor of Aquitaine by Alison Weir
7. The Castle of Kings by Oliver Potzsch
8. The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
9. Simon the Coldheart by Georgette Heyer
10. Blood On the Tracks (Railway Mysteries) Edited by Martin Edwards

I’ve never read The Count of Monte Crisco either.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a fairly easy read but it's just so long!!
DeleteI had a ton of books I could choose from too! I hope you enjoy these if you ever get around to reading them!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI cannot recall if I have even heard of most of these before but I hope you enjoy all of them once you get to them :)

Thanks for sharing your list Ashley!
DeleteYeah, I need to put myself on a serious book-buying ban! My shelves are literally bowing under all the unread books on them and, yet, I can't resist acquiring more, more, more. The struggle is real! I'm glad I'm not alone :)
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT (on a Wednesday)!
It's crazy how we all seem to be unable to reign ourselves in, lol...thanks Susan!
DeleteI haven't read any of these, only heard of The Count of Monte Christo :)

Thanks for sharing your list Laurie!
DeleteI had so many to choose from as well. I picked ones that I thought I could read or listen to before the end of the year. I also need to put myself on a book buying ban. I don't own any of these.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how to put myself on a ban, lol. Thanks Carla!
